Missing colour profile.?

When I export my images from Adobe Lightroom (for which I have the latest updates) I leave assigned the standard sRGB profile from the export menu, however when I look at the properties of the image under 'properties, details' there is no colour profile assigned.

The prints look alwful from jessops worse than anything I have seen from them before as if there is no profile at all.

The monitor is of course calibrated with a proper full time calibration unit. Everything I have read suggests I am doing everything correctly and there should be a colour profile, there are no tick boxes or anything like that.

I can assign a profile with photoshop CS3 which shows up in 'properties details' of the image but to do this with 700 images is slow to say the least.

I'm wondering if there is a conflict with the colour management of the old adobe gamma and the new monitor calibration units or if this is just a red herring.

Any help???
