As fast browsing Iphone here

Now you can see how fast it is for others to surf with the Iphone. Bredbandskollen has been around for a while now and offers you to see how fast your connection is. The new version just released, it is also possible to see the map of others' results. The map has previously only been available through the website but there is now directly in the app.

You can choose what you want to see if you eg only want to see results from Iphone 3GS (which is faster tubro-3g, 7.2 Mbps) or if you just want to see results from a specific operator.

Personally I think not true that the result is the difference you feel when you surf the web, watch Youtube, or whatever you might do, but it surely gives a hint. Then you should also remember that some subscriptions to the operators is strangled, for example, to 0.384 kbit / s and therefore do not give or show what the phone and the network is really going on.
